What is new
Italy joins Tarifo. The calculator computes the lawyer fee under the parametri forensi of DM 55/2014, and the state court fee — the contributo unificato — under D.P.R. 30 maggio 2002, n. 115, art. 13. Both run on the same case; figures are in euros.
A tax, not a fee
The Italian court charge is a tax: the contributo unificato carries no IVA and no CPA, and it moves in step-flat bands rather than as a percentage. The distinctive rules are built in — the halving for a decreto ingiuntivo (monitorio) and the exemption that applies in labour matters. The lawyer figure is an indicative reference value, not a binding fee or quote; it surfaces 22 % IVA and 4 % CPA as optional toggles.
