Greek insolvency runs under the Κώδικας Διευθέτησης Οφειλών και Παροχής Δεύτερης Ευκαιρίας (Ν. 4738/2020), which consolidated the previously fragmented regime (επιχειρηματική πτώχευση, νοικοκυριά Ν. 3869/2010, εξυγίανση) into a single statute covering business and consumer insolvency, the εξυγιανση (reorganisation) procedure, and the πτώχευση proper. Procedurally the πτωχευτική αίτηση and the related procedural acts are heard by the Πολυμελές Πρωτοδικείο sitting in πτωχευτική σύνθεση. Παράρτημα Ι Β’ Πολυμελές ε of Ν. 4194/2013 prices the lawyer-side work as flats per procedural act — a modest filing fee for the πτωχευτική αίτηση itself and for the creditor’s αναγγελία απαίτησης. On the state-fee side the insolvency procedure has its own παράβολο regime under Ν. 4738/2020 (and the related ministerial decisions), which is not the civil δικαστικό ένσημο of Α.Ν. 1521/1950; the Tarifo calculator therefore returns no δικαστικό ένσημο on the insolvency case shapes.
Bankruptcy petition (Three-Judge Court)
Αίτηση πτωχεύσεως — the formal filing that opens an insolvency proceeding before the Πολυμελές Πρωτοδικείο in πτωχευτική σύνθεση under Ν. 4738/2020 Άρθρα 76 ff. The petition can be filed by the debtor (αυτοπτώχευση), by one or more creditors meeting the standing requirements, or by the Public Prosecutor in qualifying cases. The court evaluates the conditions of inability to pay (παύση πληρωμών) and, if satisfied, issues the κήρυξη πτωχεύσεως.
You file it as debtor when the business or estate is in παύση πληρωμών and the εξυγίανση route is not viable, or as creditor when a debtor’s payment default is sufficiently established and a clawback into the estate is in the creditor’s interest. Filing triggers asset-blocking effects and the appointment of a σύνδικος.
Lawyer fee — Παράρτημα Ι Β’ Πολυμελές ε. Flat 90 € for the filing act itself. Subsequent procedural acts within the πτώχευση (acceptance/objection on creditor claims, distribution disputes, contested motions) are priced separately by the relevant Παράρτημα Ι lines. State court fee. None under the civil δικαστικό ένσημο module — the insolvency procedure has its own παράβολο regime under Ν. 4738/2020 (handled outside this calculator).

Αναγγελία απαίτησης πιστωτή — the formal filing by a creditor of its claim into an already-opened πτώχευση. The αναγγελία is the only route by which a creditor’s pre-petition claim can be admitted to participate in distributions; it must be filed with the σύνδικος within the deadlines set by the κήρυξη πτωχεύσεως decision (typically a short, fixed window). The σύνδικος then evaluates and either admits or contests each claim, with the contested claims resolved by the πτωχευτικό δικαστήριο.
You file it as a creditor as soon as you learn of the κήρυξη πτωχεύσεως of your debtor. Late filings risk being excluded from distribution; the documentation must establish the existence, the amount, and the ranking (προνομιακή/ανέγγυη) of the claim.
Lawyer fee — Παράρτημα Ι Β’ Πολυμελές ε. Flat 100 € for the αναγγελία itself. Subsequent contestation of the σύνδικος’s evaluation, if needed, is priced separately. State court fee. None under the Α.Ν. 1521/1950 module — same reason as the bankruptcy-petition case (insolvency παράβολο runs under Ν. 4738/2020).
