What is new
Croatia joins Tarifo. The calculator computes the lawyer fee under the Odvjetnička tarifa (Tarifa o nagradama i naknadi troškova za rad odvjetnika, NN 138/2023) — the Croatian Bar Association (HOK) tariff in force since 25 November 2023 — and the state court fee (sudska pristojba) under the Uredba o Tarifi sudskih pristojbi (NN 37/2023). Both are the first euro-denominated figures following Croatia’s eurozone accession, so everything is shown in euros.
A point-value tariff, and not a floor
The lawyer scale is a point-value (bod) tariff: each procedural action is awarded a number of points, and the fee is the point count times 2,00 € per point (Tbr. 54), with 25 % PDV added on top. It is a default and cost-recovery reference, not a binding minimum — lawyer and client may agree a different fee in writing (čl. 18 Zakona o odvjetništvu) — so Tarifo’s usual “reference values, not floors” framing applies. The court fee runs on its own banded scale (capped at 663,61 €) and carries no PDV; for a worker’s labour dispute it is waived entirely.
