What is new
Austria joins Tarifo. The calculator computes the lawyer fee under the RATG (Rechtsanwaltstarifgesetz, with the § 23 Einheitssatz) and the state court fee under the GGG (Gerichtsgebührengesetz), whose amounts were re-set by BGBl. II 51/2025 (in force 1 April 2025). Figures are in euros.
Per stage, and not a floor
Austria has two distinctive rules, both built in. The RATG charges a separate Tarifpost per procedural stage, so the fee tracks how far a matter runs. And under § 2 Abs. 1 RATG the tariff is a default and cost-recovery scale, not a binding minimum — so Tarifo’s usual “reference values, not floors” framing applies here. The court fee uses the full value with no labour cap. The lawyer figure adds 20 % USt on top.
