What is new
Slovenia joins Tarifo. The calculator computes the lawyer fee under the Odvetniška tarifa (Ur. l. RS 2/2015, with its Special Part fully replaced and renumbered by 70/2022, in force 4 June 2022) — the Slovenian Bar Association (OZS) tariff — and the state court fee (sodna taksa) under ZST-1 (Zakon o sodnih taksah, Ur. l. RS 37/2008, consolidated after ZST-1D). Both engines work in euros and run side-by-side from the same case description.
A point-value tariff, and not a floor
The lawyer scale is a point-value (točka) tariff: each service is awarded a number of points, and the fee is the točka count times 0,60 € per point (Sklep, Ur. l. RS 22/2019), with 22 % DDV added on top. It is a default and cost-recovery reference, not a binding minimum — lawyer and client may agree a different fee in writing (OT čl. 15, ZOdv čl. 17), and courts use the tariff to award costs (OT čl. 14) — so Tarifo’s usual “reference values, not floors” framing applies. The court fee runs on its own ZST-1 scale: a stepped Art. 16 base multiplied by a per-proceeding factor for value-based cases, or a flat amount for divorce, custody, enforcement and administrative disputes, with no VAT. Employees in employment-existence disputes are exempt from court fees entirely.
