What is new
Germany joins Tarifo. The calculator computes the lawyer fee under the RVG (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz + the VV RVG schedule + Anlage 2) and the state court fee under the GKG for civil, labour and administrative matters and the FamGKG for divorce — both consolidated after KostBRÄG 2025 (BGBl. 2025 I Nr. 109, in force 1 June 2025). Figures are in euros.
A statutory minimum, not just a reference
Germany is the exception to Tarifo’s usual framing. For litigation, the RVG fee is a binding statutory floor: under § 49b Abs. 1 BRAO a lawyer may not agree a lower fee for representation in court. So the German numbers are not merely indicative — they are the minimum the law sets, with 19 % USt added on top (Nr. 7008 VV RVG). Tarifo flags this rather than applying its usual “reference values, not floors” wording.
